"Lighten a Church" Service

"Lighten a Church" is a service that brings together Priests or Parish Council Officers who need goods for their Church but cannot afford to acquire and Donors who are willing to support. The service enables our site visitors to donate to churches with specific in-kind contributions selected by their Priests.

The service utilizes the World Orthodox Directory to publish the Church needs. The Directory currently includes more than 10.000 entries. For each Church, there is a Need-list in which the responsible Priest can add goods for the Church. At the same time, OramaWorld visitors who wish to support a particular church, can use the Directory to find this Church, browse the Church's Need-list and move items from the Church Need-list to their Shopping Carts and purchase them for their preferred Church.
