Δεσποτικοί Ράβδοι
Οι Δεσποτικοί Ράβδοι προήλθαν από του ηγουμένους των μονών της Ανατολής οι οποίοι είχαν υπό την διοίκηση τους μεγάλες μοναχικές κοινότητες και κρατούσαν ράβδο ως υποστήριγμα για τις μακρές ακολουθίες. Ανά τους αιώνες, η Δεσποτική Ράβδος έγινε σύμβολο της διοικητικής ή ποιμαντικής τους εξουσίας.
Η αρχική τους κατασκευή ήταν από απλό ξύλο ενώ στην συνέχεια χρησιμοποιήθηκε και πολύτιμο.
Σήμερα, οι Δεσποτικοί Ράβδοι είναι μεταλλικοί και οι κεραίες τους είναι στραμμένες προς τα επάνω και καταλήγουν σε δίδυμους όφεις.
Η συλλογή μας περιλαμβάνει μοναδικά σχέδια από Δεσποτικές Ράβδους οι οποίες είναι επιχρυσωμένες και ειδικά επεξεργασμένες ώστε να μην χάνουν την λάμψη τους.
